Stevens Students Honored for Positive AttitudePort Angeles, Wash. – Twenty-eight Stevens Middle School students were selected as Students of the Month for September and were honored Wednesday, October 27 at a luncheon at the North Olympic Peninsula Skills Center prepared by the Center’s culinary arts students.  The seventh and eighth grade students were recognized by their teachers for showing a positive attitude at school.

The following students were honored: Kennedy Bruch, Eve Burke, Carlos Chavez, Yun Chong, Izaac Coppage, Anna Daly, Lindsey Groff, Damon Gunderson, Kathryn Guttormsen, McKenzie Johnson, Lynsey Light, Emiliano Maldonado, Damian McDougal, Sophia Murray, Sophia Orth, Gunnar Peterson, Madison Peterson, Hank Rygaard, Nathan Seelye, Henry Shaw, Zoe Thompson, Maizie Tucker, Celeste Tucker, Adam Weller, Bryce Williams, Madelynn Wray, Olivia Wray and Corey Young.

Six character traits, aligning with the school’s PRIDE topics, will be celebrated at Stevens Middle School during the 2016-17 school year. Traits are:

September - Positive
October - Respect
November - Integrity
January - Determination
March - Excellence
May - Teacher’s Choice
