Stevens Students Honored for Excellence

Port Angeles, Wash. – Twenty-seven Stevens Middle School students were selected as Students of the Month for March and were honored Wednesday, April 13 at a luncheon at the North Olympic Peninsula Skills Center (NOPSC) prepared by the Center’s culinary arts students.  The seventh and eighth grade students were recognized for their excellence by their teachers.

The following Stevens students were honored:  Emma Albright, Conner Blauser, Nacia Bohman, Jada Cargo, Skyler Cobb, Tristin Davis, Carter Droz, Jacob Felton, Anna Gentry, Ben Hollingsworth, Rylie Hough, Anna Hull, Henry Irwin, Jake Jacobson, Eva Kirkland, Jackson Larsen, Isaiah Martinez, Natalie Martinson, Kamron Meadows, Kenzie Musalek, Karson Nipcon, Alix Rosenbalm, Anthony Rosanbalm, Abby Sanders, Raven Sharpe, Maxine Waddell and Yun Chong.

Six character traits, aligning with the school’s PRIDE topics, will be celebrated at Stevens Middle School during the 2015-16 school year. Traits, and months celebrated, are:

September - Personal Responsibility
October - Respect
November - Integrity
January - Determination
March - Excellence
May - Teacher’s Choice

NOPSC Sports Medicine instructor Jennifer Scott and Medical Careers instructor Lillian Easton gave presentations about their respective programs to students.
