NOLS Hosts Teen Advisory Board MeetingThe North Olympic Library System (NOLS) wants to hear from teens in 7th – 12th grade! On Tuesday, October 10 at 3:30pm, the Port Angeles Main Library will host a Teen Advisory Board meeting. During this meeting, teens will contribute their ideas to help plan future programming and services for teens with a NOLS staff member.

The Teen Advisory Board meeting is being organized to encourage middle school and high school-aged students to become life-long library users through the promotion of reading, volunteerism, and participation in the library, and to help assist the library in developing and implementing programs which serve local teens. The goal in creating a Teen Advisory Board is to give the library a new perspective on youth as well as youth a new perspective on libraries.
