41st Annual All-City String Review May 11 – Two Shows!

41st Annual All-City String Review May 11 – Two Shows!Port Angeles, Wash. – The All-City String Review will be held Thursday, May 11 in Port Angeles High School’s Main Gymnasium, 304 East Park Avenue.  

The Port Angeles School District’s strings students, grades four through 12, will perform together in this annual concert.  This year’s version will continue the arrangement from last year, dividing participants in two shows.

Both concerts will happen back-to-back. 

The 6:00 p.m. “West” concert will feature students from Dry Creek, Hamilton, and Jefferson Elementary Schools, and approximately half of middle school and high school string students in grades seven through eleven. 

The 7:15 p.m. “East” concert will feature, Franklin, and Roosevelt Schools and the other half of grade seven through eleven students.  

Seniors will perform and be honored in both concerts.

“It’s the 41st anniversary,” said Port Angeles High School Orchestra Director Ron Jones.

Jones will be joined by district strings instructors as conductors:

James Ray: Grades 4-6 @ Franklin; Stevens Middle School
Sabrina Scruggs: Grades 4-6 @ Dry Creek & Hamilton; Grades 4 and 5 @ Jefferson
Traci Winters: 6th grade @ Jefferson; Grades 4-6 @ Roosevelt
